Nahm was the first Michelin-starred Thai restaurant in Europe and is without doubt one of London's most exceptional Asian dining experiences. The cuisine is based on ancient royal Thai traditions. Australian chef David Thompson has crafted a variety of intensely flavoured meat, seafood and vegetable dishes such as crispy fish salad with sweet pork and green mango or minced quail with wild ginger, white turmeric and holy basil. Thompson was previously chef proprietor of the Darley Street Thai restaurant in Sydney and transformed it in to one of the city's hippest eateries. He's certainly done the same at Nahm - and although it's relatively well established now it still as if it was recently opened simply because the food is good enough to keep the in-crowd coming back. It still also has the honour of being the only Michelin starred Thai restaurant in the UK.
