Mrs Fogg’s Dockside Drinkery and Distillery - The City, London

The Inception Group certainly hasn't been sitting on its hands, rolling out a menagerie of Mr Fogg's across the capital. But this time it seems like the intrepid adventurer has met his match. Located on 37 Broadgate Circle in The City, Mrs Fogg's Maritime Club & Distillery is inspired by Aouda, the explorer Phileas Fogg's Indian wife in Jules Verne's classic adventure novel Around The World in 80 Days. 

Mrs Fogg's serves up inventive cocktails and innovative dishes with a nod to her heritage and nautical travels. Spanning two floors, the top floor will take guests on the journey of the Rangoon Steamer with an abundance of foliage and greenery spread throughout the space, ancient maritime maps and items and a ceiling festooned with pennants. The bottom floor resembles an engine room filled with crates and luggage with a fully working gin distillery and a custom-designed rickshaw where guests can shake their own cocktails to perfection. 

The menu at Mrs Fogg's includes cocktails like Ta-Ta's Margarita (tumeric-infused Cabrito Blanco tequila, Rinomato Americano Blanco, chili-infused honey, lime, starfruit and grapefruit tonic) as well as the Mumbai Donkey (Cardamom-infused Russian Standard vodka, pear, parsley and ginger beer). Snacks include Keralan fried chicken, mini mango salads, sweet potato pani puri and jackfruit biryani. After a rather raucous members' part at Mrs Fogg's Maritime Club, we can attest that it's well up to snuff.
