Il Bar at The Bulgari Hotel injects a dose of Milanese glamour into the heart of Knightsbridge. Drawing inspiration from the intricacy and purity of Bulgari's craftwork, the lounge is a dramatic space featuring a bowl-shaped bar hewn from hammered silver, black granite floors, a ceiling finished in titanium and walls fashioned from mahogany. The bar's philosophy is predicated on the Italian concept of aperitivos, a tradition in which a bar's countertop would be spread with a variety of light snacks to complement guests' cocktails. The bar menu offers eleven bespoke London cocktails lashed with Italian flavour. As one would expect, negronis, bellinis, spritzes and sgroppinos are all of the highest standard, and go particularly well with the olives, cured meats and grissini.
