At 42, you are transported to a bygone era of Indian grandeur. The venue's interior boasts an undeniably Indian aesthetic, adorned with beautiful chandeliers and flickering candlelight that set the scene for a memorable evening. On a Friday and Saturday there is also a DJ playing from 10pm adding to the vibrant ambience.  
 
The staff double as storytellers who can explain the narratives behind every innovative cocktail on the menu. Each expertly crafted concoction boasts unique flavours that will tantalise and surprise you. A must try is the Bagheera, made with ingredients including Lost Explorer Espadin Mezcal and Chaprah Weaver Ant Chutney. Aside from cocktails there is an extensive list of whiskeys and champagnes on offer as well.
 
While the cocktails are the star of the show, Gymkhana's renowned culinary expertise also extends to 42. There are some delicious Indian nibbles available to complement the cocktails. This venue is a haven for those seeking a chic cocktail lounge in Mayfair.
