Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and many are searching for the perfect date night spot. Whether it’s with your partner, a friend, or even a solo date, read further for our top Valentines’ Day recommendations.

Searcys at the Gherkin, The City

This Valentine’s Day, Searcys at the Gherkin are leaving Londoners spoilt for choice between their Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea and Dinner. For £80 per guest, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city between bites of sandwiches and scones served with a glass of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial Rosé Champagne. 
Alternatively, indulge in a four-course meal accompanied with a glass of champagne for £149 per guest. Guests can enjoy the same dinner with a bottle of champagne for £199 per guest, or with the added option of a window table priced at £249 per guest.

Social Eating House, Soho

Jason Atherton is offering a three course feast at his Soho restaurant this Valentine’s Day, with exquisite treats such as scallop with burnt blood orange, chicory, hazelnut, truffle and skyr or caramelised white chocolate cremeux, passionfruit and sesame crisps for £110 per guest. You can also choose to surprise your loved one on the night with a pre-paid glass or bottle of champagne that will be waiting for you on arrival. 

Seven Park Place, Mayfair

Located in the St James Hotel and Club, Seven Park Place offers fine French cuisine from the mind of Michelin-starred chef William Drabble. Whilst they aren’t hosting a specifically Valentine’s-related event, there is still plenty of availability to enjoy a romantic evening at Drabble’s multi-award winning restaurant. If simple, elegant iterations of the finest seasonal produce in a luxurious yet casual setting, Seven Park Place might be the perfect Valentine’s date for you.

SushiSamba, The City

Treat your loved one to a chef-curated meal for two at Sushi Samba this Valentine’s Day. With mouthwatering options such as crispy wagyu taquitos, lobster seviche and peruvian chocolate mousse with champagne, wild strawberry and dragon-fruit, you can enjoy a truly intimate, shared dining experience whilst enjoying the spectacular view from the 38th and 39th floors of the Heron Tower- not to mention the meal will be perfectly paired with a bottle of bubbly. Ginza St James is offering a shared dinner at £300 per couple, and this stunning omakase affair is not one to miss. With vegan and vegetarian options available for each course, carnivore and herbivore couples alike can enjoy this meal, whether you’re opting for the Jerusalem Artichoke Teriyaki or the Kagoshima Wagyu. Also included is okinawa, a refreshing tropical aperitif, and you can indulge in Honey Miso Mousse or their Silken Coconut Tofu.

Gaucho Canary Wharf
For an exclusive Valentine’s Day event, Gaucho Canary Wharf are offering the opportunity to cosy up in an intimate riverside dining pod, overlooking the glittering city lights. Choose between one of two exclusive pods: the Cupid Pod, which comes with an abundance of pink and white flowers, fairy lights and scattered petals, or the Indulgence Pod, which will be adorned with red and crimson flowers and sultry lighting. In the pods, you can choose from anything on Gaucho’s Argentinian menu, and will also be treated to a bottle of Laurent Perrier Cuvée Brut Rosé and chocolate truffles for a minimum spend. City Social
Combine Michelin-star dining with incredible panoramic views of London’s skyline for the ultimate Valentine’s Day experience at City Social, Jason Atherton’s elegant art deco restaurant on the 24th floor of Tower 42. Their delectable tasting menu includes unique canapes such as Devon crab with nashi pear, pickled mooli, ponzu, dill oil, celery & samphire foam, and you can surprise your loved one by pre-ordering a glass or bottle of Ruinart Champagne Rosé for the table.
 

Coq d’Argent, the City

Coq d’Argent is promising a French fine dining feast this Valentine’s day, with a five-course meal filled with delights such as black truffle-filled ravioli, and champagne velouté poached halibut with crushed artichoke and caviar. If these offerings weren’t enough to tantalise your tastebuds, perhaps their hibiscus and apple parfait with raspberry sorbet will. Le Petit Beefbar, Chelsea

Le Petit Beefbar may not have a dedicated Valentine’s Dinner, but their buzzy atmosphere, delectable a la carte menu and fantastic service combine to create an ideal date night treat. An Art Deco marble wraparound bar greets you at the entrance and eclectic artwork surrounds you as you feast. For a Valentine’s celebration that combines a relaxed vibe with high-calibre gourmet cuisine, request a booking for Le Petit Beefbar.

Gaucho Charlotte Street
Gaucho’s Charlotte Street restaurant are inviting loved up Londoners to an immersive theatrical experience with A Marvellous Moulin Rouge Film Club. Take your seat to enjoy the award-winning tragedy whilst tucking in to a menu inspired by the film for £65 per person, available on the 11th of February. 

 

Lima, Fitzrovia

This Michelin-starred Peruvian restaurant is offering a Valentine’s sharing menu for £65 per guest. The menu includes a glass of prosecco alongside sublime delicacies such as ribeye steak with truffle sauce, cuzco corn cake and anticucho sauce or seafood frittura with plantain crisps and criolla sauce.

Floral, Covent Garden

The younger sibling to Lima in Fitzrovia, Floral is offering the same six-course menu as its predecessor. Alongside this, Floral hosts The Lost Alpaca, a fun and lively bar serving up some Latin American cocktails, Peruvian bar snacks and music. If you’re looking for a Valentine’s date that keeps the party going, head to Floral on the 14th of February.

45 Jermyn Street, St James

If the word ‘romance’ conjures up images of old school glamour, then 45 Jermyn Street might be the option for you. The chic yet balanced complimentary colours of the burnt sienna banquettes and sage green walls combined with the parquet floor evokes aspects of the 1950s diner elevated by the elegance of the art deco banker’s lamps and uniquely moulded ceiling. Their sumptuous a la carte menu is available to order on the 14th of February, so request a booking through the Innerplace team to secure a romantic evening for two.

Little Social, Mayfair
This Valentine’s Day, head to Little Social in Mayfair for a sumptuous three-course meal in a cosy, romantic setting. Offering delicacies such as latteria burrata with castelfranco, truffle honey and walnut as well as the option for a prepaid glass or a bottle of Ruinart Rose Champagne to be waiting as you take your seats.
 

Petersham Nurseries Cafe, Richmond

Petersham Nurseries Cafe invites you to a magical greenhouse garden abundant with bougainvillea and jasmine for a Valentine’s dinner like no other. If the idea of a carefully curated six-course meal under amongst the twisting vines intertwined with fairy lights isn’t enough to entice you, they are offering a Rhubarb Bellini on arrival and can even have British seasonal bouquets presented at your table if you request in advance. Priced at £135 per person, Petersham Nurseries Cafe is sure to be an enchanting experience to share with a loved one.
