If you're feeling the need to get lost in luxury for a weekend there's a Berkshire spa/hotel/restaurant waiting to ensure that you return to London restored and revitalised! The Vineyard at Stockcross has been one of the premier getaway destinations since it opened in 1998 and has won a wealth of accolades. The dining room sports an elegant contemporary look with an exquisite collection of art and sculpture to complement the delicious food. Heavily-awarded Head Chef Daniel Galmiche envisions and executes his dishes with artistry and precision. Signature dishes like a steamed fillet of John Dory with a honey and chilli glaze accompanied by Jerusalem artichoke will have your palate pleading for more. As the name suggests of course wine is a passion at the Vineyard with two cellars offering 2000 selections spanning the very best of both new and old worlds. 

To ensure you are not overwhelmed the highly staff trained and sommeliers will guide you and supply expert recommendations. The wine treats go even further with special offers each day such as Retail (price) Mondays and BYO (no corkage) Tuesdays, through to Icon Saturdays when they crack open an exceptional vintage between guests so you get to try a rare (and expensive) wine by the glass at cost price (recently a Chateau Petrus 1982). The spa matches the restaurant in indulgence.  It makes use of an array of materials including sandstone, slate and stainless steel to create a blissful environment in which you can take advantage of their comprehensive suite of amenities including a stunning indoor circular pool, spa bath, hydrotherapy bath, steam room, sauna and gymnasium.

I’ve been with Innerplace pretty much since they started which is over 21 years now. Whilst I have access to other concierges through work and credit cards, Innerplace will always be my go to due to their incredible service, friendliness, expertise, knowledge and most of all their ability to get me a last minute booking at the most in demand restaurants in town, even when fully booked!

In the last few years they’ve really upped their game in terms of members parties and access to events which as well as being fun are also great networking opportunities. Tim has put together an incredible team and its always a pleasure to speak with them over email, phone and also when I meet them in person.

Most recently I asked them to find me a venue for our work summer drinks as I wasn’t able to find anything within budget or with the required flexibility on numbers, food and drink.
