Mark Hix will be catering to the hip with his newest offering in Shoreditch, which looks poised to be one of his most groundbreaking propositions so far. Located in what was formerly an electricity generating facility for the Tramway System, there still remains a palpable buzz in the air, bolstered by the centrepiece of the dining room - an art installation suspended above the central dining room by none other than Damien Hirst in which a cockerel atop a cow's back is preserved in a formeldahyde tank. The short menu shares the theme with only two options available for mains, roast chicken or steaks. The beef is aged in the first Himalayan Salt Chamber in Europe for at least five weeks to give it an incredible flavour while the chickens lead a special barn-range life to make them especially delicious.
