American food continues to trend in London, and Marylebone now plays host to The Lockhart, a restaurant launched by four Texans with a passion for Southwestern and Creole cuisine. A light and airy dining room will channel the spirit of Texas, as will the menu, which boasts a variety of countrified delicacies like polenta fried okra with a chipotle dipping sauce, lobster nachos, or seared king scallops served with Andouille sausage succotash, grilled corn puree and a crisp fennel salad. Cocktails veer towards cactus juice and bourbon with a plethora of margaritas, old fashioneds and sweet teas to choose from, not to mention a generous selection of beers and wines, many of them from across the pond.
