Social Eating House - Soho, London

Jason Atherton, one of Britain's foremost foodie visionaries, has soft launched his third restaurant in London hot on the heels of Little Social, which launched in March. Social Eating House is sprawled over three floors in a Poland Street townhouse and each one of them promises to tantalise the tastebuds and thrill the senses. The ground floor houses the main dining room with antique mirrored ceilings and reclaimed furniture, not to mention truly excellent Modern British fare including duck 'ham', egg and chips as well as a flamed cote de porc with beetroot, white polenta, spring onion and savory. Head downstairs for an excellent chef's counter where you can see the kitchen kicking into action (they take bookings of two or more) or upstairs for a beautiful bar with lots of dark wood, leather banquettes and a playful cocktail menu.
