Anyone who queued underneath Hungerford Bridge summer 2011 will recognise the pulling power of Pitt Cue Co. Now, like Meat Liquor before them, what was formerly a food truck has into a full-blown restaurant, and can now rightfully call themselves a smokehouse, with roof and all on Newburgh Street in Soho! As expected, no reservations will be allowed, but feel free to grab a drink at the bar upstairs and treat yourself to a pickleback (served with pork crackling), a boilermaker or other 'cocktail' of southern American ilk. The food should be worth the wait with items like 14hr brisket, deep fried pickled shitake mushrooms, oxtail mac 'n cheese and St Louis ribs, all stapling down the menu.
