Italy, home to history's most famous empire, the seat of Catholicism, breathtaking artwork and architecture, and, more recently, the multigenerational love-party.  From the team behind Chelsea quirksters Barts and Maggie's comes an Englishman's take on an Italian trattoria, complete with a gondola-shaped bar, karaoke, and pizzas that take their names from Berlusconi's many mistresses including the Ruby Loves (spicy nduja, calabrian salami, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella) or the Untouchable Nancy (goat's cheese, pancetta, spinach, egg). They also serve some amazing starters, including pork loin stuffed with gorgonzola and wrapped in pancetta or zucchini fritte with basil aioli. If you don't book, expect a queue. Also expect an incredibly lively atmosphere with singers performing tabletop and live cabaret acts that would curl Silvio's whiskers! Perfect for fun and laidback catch-ups or great private hire parties, Bunga Bunga is a lively and energetic restaurant situated wonderfully close to the river in Battersea.
