If you're looking for a milestone London restaurant you can do no better than Bentley's Oyster Bar and Grill, which has been clinging to the London dining scene like a limpet for more than nine decades.  Retro opulence abounds in the arts-and-crafts inspired interior and Italian-gothic façade which captures the art deco rambunctiousness of the roaring twenties. Richard Corrigan holds court with your tastebuds, look out for huitres served with soda bread, a paean to his Irish heritage. If you want to show someone a live and red-blooded relic from London's colourful history, Bentley's is absolutely the best place to sip a martini and enjoy the fruits of the sea.
