Manhattan is getting really accomplished at nicking our culinary talents (we're looking at you April Bloomfield!) but occasionally said talents have a crisis of conscience and pay it back to the Big Smoke. London-born restaurateur Keith McNally is apparently undergoing an experience of the sort and Covent Garden is all the better for it with the installation of Balthazar, one of Manhattan's most lauded institutions, in the former Theatre Museum. One-upping the Parisian brasserie experience, Balthazar is firing on all cylinders with some of the foremost names in the industry delivering top-notch French fodder for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinners. Currently soft open, Balthazar is the big launch early 2013. Good luck getting a booking this month!
