KX - Chelsea , London

We're very happy to be partnering with one of London's most exclusive health-oriented establishments - KX on Chelsea's Draycott Avenue. Founded in 2002, KX quickly went on to carve out a spot for itself on the forefront of fitness, nutrition, beauty and wellbeing. KX - pronounced 'kicks' - offers a tripartite focus on health, through its spa, its private members' gym and its restaurant.

KX is modern but not massive - which fosters an intimacy between its members and there are never too many people in the classes. We were duly impressed by the CV gym equipment as well as the strength and conditioning set up with machines from Atlantis, Free Motion, Keiser and Hammer. Otherwise, there are plenty of the essentials: squat racks, air and weight cables, Eliko bars and plates, Olympic platforms and auxiliary pieces such as benches, dumbbells, bars, kettle bells, medicine balls & TRX.

If the gym's not necessarily your thing, there's a class studio, yoga studio, pilates studio, private training studio and dojo. For those that like to unwind after a workout, there are plenty of spaces to do so, including steam rooms, saunas, plunge pools and the KX restaurant, which offers and ample range of nutritious, healthy foods and beverage, protein packed to aid a quick recovery.

Spa bunnies won't be disappointed with the massive range of treatments on offer, running the gamut from ancient eastern healing methods to cutting-edge western medicine. All of their therapies aim to treat the whole person and focus on restoring balance to physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, with practitioners that lead their field.
