Some Little Luxuries

May 1, 2020

We hope you are all doing okay in this difficult and uncertain period. In light of the COVID-19 situation, we’ve pivoted to focus on things that make our members lives during quarantine easier and better. Adding a little luxuries for the body, mind, soul and taste-buds to enhance their lock-down experience, including Luxury Food & Wine Delivery; Medical Concierge; Private Chef Services; Homeschooling; Personal Training; Music Lessons and much more. Also hopefully offering a glimpse of some thing to look forward to. Below you’ll find a number of partners with whom Innerplace members receive special benefits.

For now, we’d like to thank you for your support going forward and we will look forward to seeing you on the other side. We are all in this together and sometimes the most difficult times bring forth the best of the human spirit.

Hedonism Virtual Tasting
Worldwide

If you’re like us, a lot of the money formerly spent out on the town has been reallocated to procuring, amassing and, most often, imbibing wine. Hedonism in Mayfair is one of London’s most vaunted wine shops with a selection that ranges from the very reasonable to some of the rarest bottles on the planet, all unified by being exceptionally delicious. They are also known for holding some of the capital’s best wine tastings.

Since they aren’t able to host people in their shop anymore, Hedonism will be bringing the experience to your homes, with virtual tastings. They send you the wines in advance (included in the price) and you then explore a selection of three or four in an hour long wine tasting with their sommelier and a small group of up to 10 participants on line, where you will be able to interact and enjoy a social experience from a distance. There are two quality levels depending on budget, 'classic' and the premium 'Hedonistic'. Innerplace members receive special benefits.

Kerv Contactless Payment Ring
Throughout Mainland UK

Innerplace members will receive a special deal to upgrade your payment arsenal with Kerv, the contactless Mastercard payment ring that is accepted worldwide in more than 40 million stores. Unlike phones, it requires no charging so you’ll always be able to pay, nor does it require pairing with an electronic device – it works all by itself. The Payment Ring’s electronics are sealed with a waterproof resin so that it’s just as happy in the sea as it is in the shower, making it extremely easy to keep clean and hygienic as we work towards a vaccine. Engineered from zirconia ceramic, The Payment Ring’s outer shell is hypoallergenic and nearly as scratch-resistant as a diamond. It’s a great asset to have if you are often out to the shops as it is extremely easy to clean. They also offer bracelets and key-fobs if that better supports your needs. Innerplace members receive a special deal on all Kerv products until the end of June.

Phycore – Medical Concierge

For those who would like to consult a doctor but don’t want to leave the home or put undue pressure on practitioners, we’ve partnered with an excellent medical concierge named Phycore. They have put together a specially customised virtual PHY 360 for the current climate. It's a special, slimmed-down introduction package for us to give you a full heath check up and ensure you’re on the right road to maximize your health, at a fraction of the cost of their normal full service. It will allow you access to the same level of wellness expertise as you would have prior to the current situation, so that you can maintain healthy lifestyle patterns.

We’ve been singing the praises of Fallow for some time now, both at its residency in Crispin in Spitalfields and 10 Heddon Street in Mayfair. Throughout London

We’re very pleased to be announcing a special deal we’ve set up with Fortnum & Mason to ensure that you are well fed during these turbulent times.  Established in 1707 with the Royal Warrant of the Queen, Fortnum & Mason needs no introduction. Famous as much for its hampers as for its bottomless variety of teas, it’s as good a time now as ever to order from them, particularly if you are after something top shelf (we are particularly fond of their smoked salmon fillets and their wine is world class). Innerplace members receive special benefits on home delivery.

Fine Dining Restaurants with Home Delivery

We’ve put together a list of our favourite fine dining operations who have pivoted to offer home delivery, whether it’s for a date night at home or a virtual dinner online.

If you are like us, one of the types of food we are missing the most is top-end sushi. Rolling it at home just doesn’t do the trick! Luckily, ROKA Home is offering takeaway and delivery on SUPPER from their Charlotte Street location. Available from 5pm-9pm from Wednesday to Sunday, ROKA will be bringing their signature flavours to the homes of Londoners, with iconic dishes such as their maki rolls and robata grilled meats on offer.

Hakkasan – Even if you can cook an excellent Cantonese, there’s no way to replicate what they do at Hakkasan at home. Whether you’re dipping in for dim sum, pecking away at the Peking duck with Royal Beluga Caviar, or deep diving the charcoal grilled silver cod with champagne and honey, rest easy you’ll be in self-containment heaven. Innerplace members get free delivery on their first order on SUPPER.

Arros QD – Quique Dacosta boasts three Michelin stars in Spain, and they’ve launched a takeaway menu so that you can enjoy his cooking at home. His Fitzrovian restaurant has earned quite a following amongst customers and critics alike with its boundary-pushing Iberian cuisine. Whether it’s molecular gastronomy starters or some of the best risotto in the UK, Arros QD delivers… (through their direct line and on Deliveroo).

Kitty Fisher’s – Kitty Fisher’s is a jewelbox small modern European bistro that has been one of the hardest bookings to get in London for years and also launched the career of Brat’s Tomos Parry. Cora Peal is their equally alluring sister restaurant. They’re launching a delivery package that will include Kitty Fisher’s signature cocktail - the Bad Kitty; Welsh rarebit topped with pretty pick pickled onions; a fish and shellfish stew with a rich crab bisque and cheesy croutons; and roast veal with veal jus and seasonal vegetables. No meal from the saucy sisters would be complete without their crispy chips - dubbed the 'dish of the year, dish of the decade, dish of the century’ by the inimitable Giles Coren.

Quality Chop House – The Quality Chop House in Farringdon is the seminal meat-forward restaurant in Farringdon that laid the groundwork for the opening of Clipstone, Emilia and Michelin-starred Portland. They’re now running a daily collection and delivery service with many of their staple dishes (think pork pies, Dexter beef mince, and smoked cod’s roe) on the menu.

BRAT – Speaking of Tomos Parry, the Welsh Michelin-starred wunderkind will be opening The BRAT Farm, Grill and Wine Shop to support the restaurant’s staff and producers with a market-style counter laden with a selection of high quality ingredients as well as prepped dishes to eat at home including whole brown crabs, smoked pink fir potatoes, grilled asparagus salad and their signature burnt cheesecakes. If you’d rather order delivery, there’s an option for that as well.

Pidgin – The Michelin-awarded restaurant will be offering a Homing Pidgin service with a weekly changing three course meal available for collection from Wednesday to Sunday at £25 per person. Yum!

12:51 – Launched by former Ledbury chef and winner of the Great British Menu James Cochran, 12:51 is a pitch perfect, innovative modern restaurant in Islington. As a testament to his hard work ethic and the challenges faced by the industry, James and co-owner Dan will be making deliveries themselves by bicycle. The AROUND THE CLUCK menu brings together James’s Jamaican jerk chicken, sides made up of fresh fruit and veg and a scotch bonnet jam.

Trullo – Trullo is the famously popular neighbourhood Italian restaurant in Islington that launched the celebrated pasta restaurant Padella. They’re introducing a carryout service with ready meals such as a top class lasagne.
