Earl's Court had never been known for its nightlife until the arrival of Ping - a purveyor of pizzas, table tennis and general bonhomie that has been packing in West London's glamorous set since its doors swung open. Guests have two options. Take the more staid course and grab a table in the cavernous restaurant, complete with sexy leather button-back banquettes, or pitch up on a stool at one of the two bars, which blend a vintage feel with postmodern accents, so that graffiti graces the walls alongside snaps of old school celebrities. For pizza enthusiasts, Ping won't disappoint, dishing up Neapolitan style pies with a fluffy/crispy cornicione. There are two seatings and if you book a dinner you'll automatically be selected for a 30 minute slot at one of the ping-pong tables. The cocktails pay the perfect complement to the pizzas. We loved our vanilla peach bellinis whipped up behind the bar. For a boisterous evening out, or the beginning of one at the very least, Ping is a smash hit.
