The gentrification of King's Cross continues apace, and on this occasion it's spearheaded by the great Bruno Loubet, who has opened a veggie-centric, pan-global eatery on the hip Granary Square. Mr Loubet sets great store in fresh produce, and the Grain Store will give seasonal ingredients pride of place with dishes including sprouting beans and seeds with miso aubergine, crispy citrus chicken skin and potato wafer or a chilled lobster 'Bloody Mary'. The stripped-back, deconstructed dining room was designed by Russell Sage, features unmatched chairs and wooden tables with al fresco seating next to Regent's Canal - ideal for sunny afternoons and late evenings. For those more liquidly inclined, the bar is headed up by famed bartender Tony Conigliaro, who has devised a menu focusing on the Greco-Roman tradition of spicing wines.
