Hi
We’re feeling rather boozy this week with a Cocktail Masterclass at The Kingly Club and a wine tasting at The Landau. We’re also arranging trips to Monaco for the annual, champagne-fuelled Grand Prix. Bottoms up!
Innerplace Cocktail Masterclass at Kingly Club, W1 - Thursday 4th March
We might love drinking cocktails but that doesn’t necessarily mean we know how to mix anything more exciting than a vodka and orange. So if you’ve always fancied trying Tom Cruise’s Cocktail moves, we’d be delighted if you would join us at a special Innerplace Cocktail Masterclass and Members Party at The Kingly Club in Soho on Thursday 4th March.
The Kingly Club’s bar team will be hosting an informal two hour session for Innerplace members and their guests. The club’s bartenders have mixed drinks for the likes of Girls Aloud and George Michael over the years, with the cocktail menu including innovative concoctions such as The Devil Martini made with vodka, ginger, chilli, cucumber and passion fruit. During the session you’ll learn how to make various cocktails as well as doing some all important sampling! With its cool James Bond style décor and sexy, stylish vibe, The Kingly Club is one of London’s most enduringly hip night spots and is the perfect place to learn to make a truly classy cocktail (no risk of a Snakebite round these parts!).
The Cocktail Masterclass is the first in a series of special classes that The Kingly Club will be hosting this year. Forthcoming events will include a magic masterclass, a poker class and a pole dancing class (we reckon we might need to drink a few cocktails before trying that one). However this one is especially for Innerplace Members!
The evening will start from 6.30pm and we can accommodate up to 50 people in total. It’s free entry for Innerplace members with up to two guests each. It will therefore be on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to book your place, please let us know at info@innerplace.co.uk
Innerplace Wine Tasting Event in association with WineChap - Wednesday 24th February
Staying with the boozy theme, we just wanted to remind you about our first Innerplace Wine Tasting Event which takes place next Wednesday 24th February at The Langham Hotel. This will be a fun, informal session hosted by the WineChap. The evening is designed to help you navigate around restaurant wine menus (whilst trying some extremely good wines) which we thought would come in very handy for your busy dining schedules.
As well as learning about wine, the event will provide an opportunity to mix and mingle with other members outside of the usual nightclub environment. The event will be held in Postillion, The Landau’s stunning private dining room at the Langham so you will be in a suitably sophisticated setting for the evening! Tickets are £35 each and include all the sampling wines and the course itself which should last about 2 hours.
Please let us know asap if you’d like to reserve places at info@innerplace.co.uk. The Innerplace Team will be there too so we hope you can make it.
The Monaco Grand Prix - Friday 14th to Sunday 16th May 2010
Formula 1 comes to Monaco just once a year for the Monaco Grand Prix and it’s without doubt the most prestigious event in the racing calendar. Monaco is closed off for the event as the city becomes one of the most thrilling, challenging race circuits in the world. Crowds line the streets to watch as F1’s supercharged cars scream around Monaco’s hairpin bends, screech up and down hills and whizz past the port.
The Monaco Grand Prix is pretty exciting but the real draw is Monaco itself. Set against the exclusive backdrop of the French Riviera, Monaco attracts the international jet set. Even on the average weekend, it’s crammed with beautiful women, billionaires, designer clothes and glitzy parties galore and during The Grand Prix, the city packs even more of a glamorous punch. The swanky hotels and glossy restaurants get booked up sometimes years in advance for this most desirable of weekends.
This year we’re lucky enough to have amazing access and the very best prices for The Grand Prix weekend. We can arrange pretty much anything from relatively standard packages to incredible pit-side VIP options or accommodation on uber luxurious Monaco yachts. We can also arrange entrance for members at the Amber Lounge, an elite Monaco night spot frequented by F1 stars, supermodels and A listers.
Weekend package prices start from £595 and go up to £4,695 for some of the most extravagant options. If you’re interested then contact us at info@innerplace.co.uk for full details.
