Living off the fat of the land means to have the very best that's available, and that's what they aim to offer at this new Marylebone gastropub. This fashionably austere, bare brick walled eatery is dishing out Iberian cuisine including deli-style pata negra, cured beef tongue and lomo - Spanish meats that you'd have to wander London like Don Quixote to find. That's not even broaching the subject of authentic Balearic-style paella, cod cheeks a pil pil or pan fried chorizo and smoked morcilla on soft polenta. Pair this with a draft Mahou beer or some sherry, and the flavours are known to dance Flamenco on your tongue. The intimate, dimly-lit atmosphere and sharing plates would easily spice up  a date night scenario. Tally all of this up, and Fat of the Land equals a welcome respite that feels miles removed from the frenetic pace of Oxford Circus.
